Developing Revolutionary Christian Leaders
The Senior High Youth Group (YG) meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30p in the Kaller Building.
YG exists to be an environment where teens are encouraged to study, worship, and pray. It is the goal of the leadership to assist in Developing Revolutionary Christian Leaders. We strive to train and equip our youth for the constant battles they face as young adult believers.
A typical night at YG (although our times together are rarely "typical") consists of music, a Bible message often taught by one of our Youth Leaders, a small group discipleship time, and either organized or unorganized group activities. We encourage our teens to share both their current struggles and successes, so we can come alongside and be a support and encouragement during the tough times, and a cheerleader during the good times ("A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance" Ecclesiastes 3:4)
