FBCP Church News - Thursday, March 19th Edition
Online Only Worship Service
After much Prayer and reviewing the current situation, our Leadership has decided to go Online Only for the next two Sundays - March 22 and 29.
We will Live Stream our church service at 10:00a on Sunday. You can watch the stream at fbcpatchogue.com/live. We know some may find the technology challenging, so we will try to provide a tutorial or see if there is someone in your area who could help you get set up.
We will revisit the "Online Only" decision at the end of March and provide another update.
What Will Sunday Look Like?
We will sing as Praise is an important response to our Sovereign God.
We will pray - a time of prayer for our Church, our Nation, and the World
We will read the scripture.
Pastor Steve will speak.
What do I do with my Offering?
For online giving, a link is available on the church website (link). You can give through this platform at any time, day or night.
If you prefer to not use the online giving method, you can mail your offering to the Church (482 North Ocean Ave, Patchogue, NY).
Please consider our Deacon Fund. We are preparing to help people with buying essentials. We have already begun helping the elderly and at-risk congregants, along with those they may be temporarily out-of-work.
Will Anything Else be available Online?
Our Pastors will be broadcasting a Devotional throughout the week. The schedule is still to be determined.
We have opened a forum through email for Encouragement, Testimonies & Ideas to share. We are working with other ways to interact and will send them out as they come together.
How Can I Be Involved in Ministry?
Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray, and Pray
Please remember that We are the Church! Church is not Closed.
We may not fill the Building on Sunday but God's Church will still fill the LORD's ears with our Praise and Prayers.
The Word on the Street is RELENTLESS!
Joseph had his dreams shattered, his family turn on him, his freedom stripped from him, but he Relentlessly trusted God. He became a Slave and was Relentless until he was given the title Steward. He was falsely accused and isolated to the dungeon from where he Relentlessly rose to be the head prisoner. He was forgotten and seemingly forsaken but he Relentlessly continued faithful.
He served Pharaoh Relentlessly and rose to be the Prime Minister. He saved grain Relentlessly and so had food to rescue the entire region. He met his Brother(Betrayers) and forgave them Relentlessly living to see his father and brother Benjamin -and the whole family restored.
This is not the time to Retreat; it is the time to be Relentless.
In an effort to offer multiple, convenient methods of donating at FBCP, we allow visitors, attendees, and members to GIVE in person or online.
For online giving, there are two methods available:
Giving online is safe and secure. Thank you for your generosity. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to church staff by calling 631-289-0230 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hello and welcome to the First Baptist Church of Patchogue. Whether you are here by accident or design, we are glad to be able to share with you the good things that God is doing at our church.
Simply put, we are here to point people to the eternal God who with great love and compassion sent His Son Jesus Christ to be the Savior of the world. His death and resurrection has made it possible for believing men and women everywhere to experience the life changing power of God’s new life and to share in the hope of eternal life.
Our hope is that you will join us soon for one of our services. But more importantly, our desire for you is that you might find your way to God. If you are searching for Him, you might start with a reading of the Gospel of John, the fourth book of the New Testament. John said that he wrote his book so that “you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name” (John 20:31).
God bless you,
Pastor Stephen Willoughby
